Exploring the back roads of Alberta.
...fall is a time of constant change. We like to say, if you don't like the weather just wait a bit. Beautiful, Jenn.
Thanks Tom...lol that saying applies around here for sure!
You caught some beautiful skies there, Jenn. It's amazing what three hours can do to the same sky. Ours is always changing through the day bringing rain or sun or sun to rain. You can hear people say the same thing as Tom said. Here they say wait five minutes and sometimes it's exactly right. :)
Thanks Bill! The weather here can be all seasons in a day it seems like!
Some really spectacular storm clouds that would have had me reaching for my waterproof jacket - and then the camera!
Hi John, yes I wish I was better prepared to be out there longer. I wasn't ready for the weather lol!
Great shots, Jenn. The clouds look like they were painted onto the sky.
Thanks Michael, I was a bit in awe as I was driving down the highway and seeing that sky!
Very dramatic clouds indeed!
Thanks RedPat! I need blog just for clouds and sunrise/sunset photos! lol
Very cool Jenn, I LOVE clouds! When I lived in the Eastern Townships of Quebec many years ago, the skies were SO BIG and the clouds made great art in the sky!
Hi Rain, sounds beautiful!!
Amazing and dramatic!
Thanks William, just how I like my skies lol!
Hello, neighbour Jenn … Nice to hear from you again … smiles … I live part-time near Eckville and part time in Red Deer … and yes, I am a sky watcher as well … Anyway … Much love, eh? and thank you for making me smile today. Always, cat.
Hi Cat! You have driven by these photo locations many times then!
We stop for clouds all the time.! These were beauties.
Hi Marie, I can't recall ever seeing a sky quite like it!
i do stop for clouds, i stop for almost everything..but the sky always amazes me!!beautiful, mesmerizing clouds!!
Thanks Debbie, I am more often than not a few minutes late for everything because I have stopped for a 'quick photo' of something!
In the first few shots it looks like fire on the horizon, next few smoke.. incroyable skies Jenn, and perhaps I should stop for clouds instead of getting distracted by them ☺
Hi PDP, I also thought it looked like fire on the horizon. LOL I will make some 'I brake for clouds' bumper stickers!
One of my favorite things as a kid was to stand on the front porch with my Dad, watching storm clouds roll in from the west across the farm fields. Thanks for the memories. :)
Hi Vicki, I bet you saw some crazy storms roll in!
