Exploring the back roads of Alberta.
Thanks BW! I guess it's an alright place to live.
So beautiful! We are having nice summer weather this week!! Our lake is unfortunately like Trans Canada though, sigh...can't wait to find my serenity...now! :) (Seinfeld reference?) :)
Hi Rain! Last night when I took this photo it was 26 degrees, today is rainy and 11 degrees. Won't complain about the rain though, hopefully it gets to the parts where the fires are. Totally a Seinfeld reference...I appreciate that show much more now watching late night reruns than I ever did the first time it was on.
We downloaded the entire 9 seasons and we go through them every few years, they NEVER get boring! :)
I am way behind on my TV watching.
OK...I need to be there....now! No power boats, no jet skis, no tourists. Just quiet. Heaven.
It is very quite this time of year now that school has started and summer is 'over'. Now the locals can go enjoy it lol! You have an invitation to visit anytime!!
Thanks Adam! In a couple months we will be skating on it!!
It looks so peaceful and beautiful!
Thanks Marie, most of the time it is. 😊
Give me peace and serenity now, lovely photo indeed.
Thanks Blogoratti, serenity is hard to come by of late. I better go stare at the lake again or jump in it.
What a great blog title...it fits this stunning photo. Very pretty. Found you via Rain's blog and can't wait to dive in and get to know you and your cozy home a bit more. :)
Hi Alexandra! Thank you, I live just West of the 5th but actually do most of my exploring West of the 4th. I already love Ewan the Lumberjack and I know I will enjoy your blog as well. Thanks so much for stopping by!
Sometimes a pretty picture just hits the spot. Thanks, Jenn.
Something I am trying out, posting a favourite photo, no words or story.
I'm a firm believer that a picture is worth a thousand words.
