On the Great Road Trip of September 2019, these friendly guys came over to investigate, or maybe they were hungry. Who knows!

This horse had one pretty blue eye (he has 2 eyes, but only one was blue). Notice his friends heading over. |
...you need to understand that many bloggers are retired like me. My blog helps to keep my aging mind sharp. It's always a pleasure to see your blog pop up on my reader list.
ReplyDeleteHi Tom! I didn't think of that, thank you.
DeleteI think that most bloggers would be hard pressed to come up with something interesting or significant every day, so don't worry about the frequency of your posts, I always enjoy them - and that's what counts.
ReplyDeleteThanks David! Sometimes I like getting history and writing a long piece but sometimes it's just nice to post just to have record of something I saw or did. Having great readers is a bonus!
DeleteOh, hello again, friend Jenn :) I tend to my reader list and my own 2 blogs every morning with my trusty "bullet proof coffee" at my side. Go Keto :) Love, cat.
ReplyDelete… regarding critters on the road … the weirdest critter I ever saw was an ostrich running east while I was driving south … :) c.
DeleteSounds like a nice morning Cat! Ostriches are interesting looking critters!
Deletethese are so fun to find and visit with. i always stop for horses!! you captured some really pretty close-ups!!!
ReplyDeleteHi Debbie, yes I could've pet them they were so close and friendly.
DeleteSo cute! At least they weren't moose coming to lick your car.
ReplyDeleteHahha I saw a video of that! LOL I have had cows lick my car though.
DeleteThe term I've heard used for a horse with one blue eye is to say he has a "glass eye."
ReplyDeleteHi Gorges, that is a fitting term! Thanks.
DeleteJenn you take the most awesome and interesting photographs. I am retired with lots of spare time but it is still a challenge to post everyday. The best thing is to take your time and post when you can.
ReplyDeleteThanks Andy, I appreciate the nice comment!
DeleteWhat a friendly crew you came upon. Just remember to post whenever you can, we all like seeing your photos and we know when you post. :) No pressure, just have fun.
ReplyDeleteThanks Bill, I do enjoy blogging and seeing places from around the world!
DeleteSuch a handsome bunch! Great photos!
ReplyDeleteThanks Marie! They were a nice looking bunch!
DeleteFarm animals are naturally curious about the passerby, I've always found.
ReplyDeleteI will have to stop for them from now on...with carrots!
DeleteYup, just coming over to say hello ☺️ Interesting and unusual to see the one blue eye Jenn ✨
ReplyDeleteHello! I thought the one blue eye was unusual too and so pretty!
DeleteI love stopping to say "hello" to the roadside animals as well. Take along a bag of carrots...you'll be immensely popular with the horses and donkeys.
ReplyDeleteHi Michael, next trip I will add carrots to the road trip bag!
DeleteCute animals.
ReplyDeleteCurious creatures!
ReplyDeleteVery curious! :)
DeleteI've been looking for an Alberta blogger for years and then I suddenly find one next door in Sylvan Lake. Hi from Red Deer.
ReplyDeleteHello! Thanks for visiting my blog! There are a few Alberta Bloggers that I follow. If you check out my blog list, Everybody Has to Be Somewhere and Past Presence are Albertan also and post historic and scenic places.
DeleteHello Jenn,
ReplyDeleteVery nice pictures. So cute to see them so close.
Best regards,
Marco
