The Hurrier I Go, The Behinder I Get!

The best laid plans of mice and (wo)men often go awry. December is just a busy month, no getting around that. Also speaking of mice, we had one in the office yesterday. His day did not go as planned, I'm sure.

Here is where I am at the moment....
Optimistically, I will post a few more times this month, and also read and comment on all my fave blogs. Ideally, I will try to get this post done and catch up with everyone's blogs. Realistically, see y'all in 2019.

We had major snow this week and since I drive to work at sunrise and come home at sunset (depressing!) I at least caught some beautiful skies and snowy scenes.

I hope everyone is doing well and I will catch up with everyone soon! Happy Holidays!

  4. Thanks William....I don't think I have ever seen so many nice sunrises and sunsets day after day....or maybe I wasn't really looking before.

  6. You've found some fantastic images there in that half-light which paints even everyday scenes with such beauty. I really like the first three pictures - oh, and the last of course. I used to hate the days when I travelled to and from work in the dark, it always felt as though the whole day had been stolen from you.

  7. Lots of beauty there that you captured along with the feeling of very cold weather. The skies are gorgeous. Enjoy the holiday season, the madness eventually will pass just like these months fly by.

    1. Thanks RedPat, I do prefer this to the brown-ness of after the leaves fall and before the first snow.

We're going out to harvest it then having a nice cozy day of decorating, egg nog (with various libations) and cheesecake...it's the start of our Christmas season!!! :)
