Wake Me Up When September Ends

September has been busy busy busy around here...never enough time. I am slowly catching up on all your wonderful blogs and will be posting shortly (hopefully)!

Enjoy a couple recent photos, currently we have snow on the ground which I refuse to acknowledge further or post a photo of.  How's the weather where you live? Take care and see everyone soon.

  1. Still mostly summery around here, though it is cooling off and the days are getting noticeably shorter - apparently we lose half an hour of daylight each week at this time of year. A couple of nice photos, though the second looks distinctly autumnal.

    1. Hi John! The shorter days are what I dislike most. The second photo was taken a few days before the snow, it really felt like we had about a week of autumn and then snow. I am hoping for more actual autumn next week lol!

  2. I'd heard snow fell in Alberta. It's a welcome sight to me!

It's seasonal here at present, though there are some trees starting to change their colours. And of course the daylight is noticeably shorter.

  5. Nice autumn colours. It has been raining here off and on this week but we do get some sunny moments too. Our trees are beginning to turn so it won't be long now. Heard you got some snow, it seems summer flew by. Have a wonderful weekend, Jenn.

    1. Hi Adam, I can't imagine living in area where hurricanes are a problem. I hope it wasn't too bad there. A bit of snow here is nothing to complain about in comparison to hurricane season.

  10. I like the first photo. The combination of the wheat and the sky work well together. The weather here still feels like summer.

  12. Hi Jenn :) We had a few days of chilly willy weather, now it's the typical Laurentian mountain heat wave. 38 today and as a heat and humidity lover, I can't complain! It'll be eyelash freezing weather before we know it. Good for you for not acknowledging the snow lol! :)
